July 31, 2025

Just posted July's Picks. It was a little quiet, but went out with a bang. Some minor updates there.

You know, I've been thinking a lot since the passing of Ozzy. That was a huge loss to the genre. It was like all of us fans lost of piece of our youth when he passed on. Friday rolls around and another legend, Alice Cooper releases an absolute banger of an album with his early bandmates. An absolutely fun album. It had me pondering. With the age of some of these musicians, we need to seize the moment now. Go all in and enjoy these people. There was a lot of sad feelings last week. Ozzy was all about fun. With that being said we should continue to celebrate Ozzy's body of work, and make the most of those we still have with us. That's my plan!

Will be working on a batch of reviews, hopefully this weekend. Stay tuned!

Have a great rest of the week and keep it safe!

I'm at a loss for words right now. Ozzy was a huge part of who shaped my taste in music and my love for metal. I feel fortunate to have been able to see him a couple of times. The Ultimate Sin tour and No More Tears or the appropriately titled No More Tours tour. Ozzy was huge, bigger than life. He helped create a genre with his Black Sabbath bandmates. His music will live on for generations. This one is going to hurt for awhile. RIP Prince of Darkness...

Some quick updates. Just posted a batch of reviews. Also, the upcoming release section is updated to reflect the next 4 weeks of releases. The week after that lineup looks to pick up a bit.

Just wanted to chime in on a subject. AI music. I will be saying no thanks to this BS. Rick Beato put up a really good video on this subject and how easy it is. AI tends to tap sources, so in essence, to write music, it will reach out and borrow heavily. Artists don't need this crap. I'm into real musicians, not 2 sentence composers. Thanks to Rick for digging into this one. You can view that by clicking here.

Have a great week and keep it safe!
