Hi Everyone!
Trying something a bit new with the reviews. I just posted a batch. What you will find is slightly different is that I have added Myspace and Youtube links if they exist. The reason for doing this is that you can get my opinion on albums, but with the vast array of resources on the web now days, you can go listen for yourself. The Myspace link will go to the obvious Myspace page for the band reviewec. There are usually songs up to stream and listen to. With the Youtube link, if there is a promo video on the website for THAT specific album (I don't link old videos), then you will be able to view that from the Youtube link. We want you to get the best possible information possible from the Heavy Metal Resource and felt this would be a great addition to the reviews. If it creates any types of problems, those links will be pulled.
I also updated the Picks section. Seems I'm enjoying alot of female fronted metal bands these days. There seems to be a scene thriving in the European markets, especially in Scandinavian areas that has a plethora of these types of bands. I have heard alot of them. There are some I don't feel are worthy of your time, but those that I find credible will be talked about. This doesn't mean however that I will have covered every available band. It really is hard these days keeping up with everything that is going on. I have my favorites, and you'll see those on this website.
I will be updating the Upcoming section this week to reflect June's releases. Do stay tuned for that.

Hello Everyone!
Posted some new reviews. Had a chance to take a look at the new Queensryche. This is a very involved effort by the band and I support their cause on this. The troops make huge sacrifices and do get put into extremely challenging situations that not all could endure. I definitely salute these people who make these sacrifices, you guys are the best!
