Dave: Who has the rights to the self titled Mama's Boys and 'Power and Passion'?? I know there are a lot of fans who would really like to see reissues of these albums. Has anyone approached you on any reissues of the Mama's Boys back catalog??

Pat & John: Lots of people approach our manager Lindy by letter or email for back catalog or true fans have our early albums on vinyl and want to know where they can get it on CD. You'll have to approach Clive Calder, the boss of Jive Records in New York and get him to re-release! Some people have inquired through the internet with success, and some have found our early stuff in second hand record shops.

Dave: Looking back in your career, is there anything you would change or do differently??

Pat & John: Yes, have a no. 1 hit! You shouldn't have any regrets. Life is a journey of learning and you can't change anything anyway.

Dave: What do you feel is the key to longevity in this business?? What kind of a balance do you have to maintain to keep things in perspective and still enjoy it??

Pat & John: Having faith in what you do. Without it you'll never last. Never get too carried away with what you are doing.

Dave: You just successfully toured in the last part of 1999 and are about to embark on some dates in March. I hear  that the crowds are recieving you very well. With the music being very multi-dimensional, is it a challenge to do the new stuff live??

Pat & John: It's always a challenge doing new songs. Recording is always the easy part, to re-do things. When it comes to 'live' you've only got one chance - and if you make a mistake, everyone knows!

Dave: If you could relay a message to all fans old and new, what would that message be??

Pat & John: We'd love to get the opportunity to get over to the U.S. again. We have so many fond memories of being there - the gap has been too long. The music business is so unpredictable - let's hope it's soon. Besides, Dan (our keyboard player) has never been to America and is just ITCHING to go!
